1947 – On this day a forest ranger on lookout duty on Mount Josephine in Skagit County, Washington saw a disc-shaped object drop straight out of sky heading toward the northeast at a tipped angle. It righted itself, floated slowly as if “suspended on cord” for several minutes, then shot off to the southeast. 1951 – Otto Boch, a German scientist from Wright Field in Dayton, Ohio saw a hovering UFO of tremendous size for two hours beginning at 11:30 a.m. It flew fast through moving clouds, and was a metallic silvery color with a greenish tint. 1952 – At 9:30 p.m. on a road north of Pontijou, France two witnesses saw an orange ball of light hovering over highway N824. It made no sound. It flew off in a southerly direction, stopped, zigzagged, stoped again, then flew away toward the southwest. The duration of the sighting was nine minutes. (Source: Lumieres dans la Nuit, issue 155).
1953 – In Ciudad Valles, Mexico at six o’clock in the evening Sr. S. Villanueva, age 37, had the engine of the vehicle he was driving fail. Two four-foot-tall beings approached, and he next saw a domed disc, 40 feet, making a humming sound. The beings entered the craft, and the UFO ascended vertically at high speed. 1958 – At 7:05 p.m. in Warren, Michigan Mr. A. D. Chisholm observed an extremely bright UFO shaped first like a bell and then like a saucer. When maneuvering it seemed shaped like a fried egg. It gave the impression of a huge size at extreme range. It was much brighter than Venus, at 70 degrees elevation. It hovered for five minutes, then flipped over and sped away to the west-southwest. The sighting lasted 6-10 minutes. Warren, Michigan UFO Sighting August 17, 1958
1959 – On this night at 11:00 p.m. all circuits shorted out in the main electrical power generating station in Uberlandia, Minas Gerais State, Brazil and several substations as a UFO flew over each one. 1961 – On this night five people on a farm in Stillwater, Minnesota observed a group of UFOs arranged vertically in a V formation. The V formation of nocturnal lights, or a boomerang-shaped object with running lights, passed behind some trees flying at a low altitude. 1962 – On this evening two little men, three feet tall, were seen digging a hole near Sr. Mafra Da Silva’s house in Duas Pontes, Minas Gerais State, Brazil. When he approached them they ran into the bushes. A few moments later a hat-shaped UFO surrounded by a red glow took off at high speed. (Sources: Olavo T. 1965 – On this night in Lima, Peru Ms. Hilda Santa Cruz, a police employee, was visited by “an extraterrestrial being” who knocked on the door of her house. She shouted in alarm and her neighbors appeared, but the being had already vanished. Immediately following this a luminous sphere passed overhead at high speed. (Source: David F. 1966 – Late in the afternoon of this day two men named Pereira and Viana, alleged UFO contactees, were found dead with welders masks and strange papers on them in Niteroi Morro do Vintem, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Plants in their vicinity were burnt. A disc shaped UFO had been seen earlier. (Source: Jacques Vallee, Confrontations: A Scientist’s Search for Alien Contact, p. 4).
1971 – John Hodges and Peter Rodriguez, both in their late twenties, had just gotten into John’s car in Palos Verdes, California at two a.m. when they saw in the headlights things that looked like “brains” on the road about six feet away. Of a bluish color, a localized mist surrounded them. One was the size of a human torso, and had something red on it; the other was “the size of an overgrown softball.” Frightened, the young men took off for home. Under hypnosis five years later, John Hodges recalled that the larger brain had spoken to them telepathically, saying, “Take the time to understand yourselves, the times draws near when you shall need to. You shall not remember this incident until we meet again.”
He also recalled that when he had arrived home and was still sitting in his car, he had a “dream” or vision of being in a large room with the brain. There were control consoles all along the wall, and there were several 7-foot-tall Grey skinned, bald humanoids with 6 webbed fingers and toes and thin lipped mouths. On a TV-like screen were pinpoint of lights, which the brain told him were places on Earth where there was “too much power.” He was also shown 3-D pictures of atomic explosions, and of a planet destroyed by “too much power.” After feeling a “buzzing” sensation he found himself back in his car. He thinks the experience was a “holographic projection,” because he noticed that behind him all was black. (Sources: David F. 1972 – Shortly before midnight Mr. & Mrs. Cheemuk observed a football shaped object with a dome and portholes over Norton Sound from St. Michael, Alaska. 1973 – A man driving near Route 30 in Kingston, Pennsylvania reported that his vehicle almost struck a huge gorilla like animal, with pointed ears and red glowing eyes. 1975 – Two men traveling near the Ngesi River near Shabani, Zimbabwe on an isolated strip of road, saw what appeared to be a bus-shaped object heading towards the town at around 6:00 p.m. The men approached the object and noticed that the object was domed, with large panoramic windows, and black pillar-like objects inside. Inside there appeared to be two human looking figures, one seated and the other standing. The object emitted a very strong white light from inside. 1975 – A 33-year-old policeman named Namoki observed a bright light with red and green rotating lights while driving in Keams Canyon, Navajo County, Arizona at 10:23 p.m. Three to five minutes later the patrol car engine, headlights, and radio failed for 30 seconds. 1978 – In Strasburg, Shenandoah County, Virginia five witnesses watched as an eighteen-foot in diameter glowing flat disc-shaped object hovered just over the ground at 9:00 p.m. A mist developed until the object became invisible after five minutes. 1980 – Mr. P. Battle, a 42-year-old security guard at a factory in Lima, Ohio had a serious close encounter with a UFO on a foggy night at 1:15 a.m. When he first saw the silvery, flat round object it was hovering only 90 yards away from him. He was struck by a yellow beam of light from the object that knocked him back against a truck. He was left with a scarred knee, a bruised back, and the yellow beam had reddened his left eye. There was also RF interference at the time on his CB radio. 1986 – Another serious close encounter with a UFO at an industrial site occurred on this night at four a.m. in Montgomery, Indiana. Two men watched as a 50-60 foot in diameter disc-shaped object approached them, then hovered over a coal crusher, bathing the area in a white light. It had pulsating lights coming from its windows at a frequency of 1 hertz, and wobbled on its vertical axis. Their physiological after effects included headaches, sore throats, and chest rashes. 1989 – At 9:00 p.m. a gigantic red ball of “energy”, 300 feet in diameter, was sighted from a Cherokee Warrier aircraft flying forty miles northeast of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. 1991 – At 2:00 a.m. a disc-shaped object with a cone-shaped dome was sighted hovering next to a radar blimp for 30 minutes in Las Palmas, Bayamon, Puerto Rico. It made a humming sound. (Source: Lumieres dans la Nuit, issue 311).
1991 – Late at night in West Carleton Township, Ontario, Canada several people watched mysterious red lights coming from a wooded marshy area. Next, a large white disc-shaped craft with a cone-shaped central dome descended over a field and then blinked out. A woman stepped out of her house because she was puzzled by her dog’s unusual behavior, and she then noticed a bright array of red lights through the trees across the street from her. As she continued to watch, a huge object covered in multi-colored lights descended abruptly almost in front of her. She retreated back toward her house and continued to watch as the object hovered. Two figures with glowing yellow-white skin emerged from the craft. They then opened a panel on the side of the object, exposing a tremendous amount of white light. When the beings started to close the panel everything seemed to go into slow motion, and the witness blacked out. Her next recollection was waking up to the sound of a helicopter hovering low over her house. Two weeks later, she was able to recall that she had boarded the craft and had conversed telepathically with its occupants. (Source: Albert S. 1996 – At one o’clock in the morning at a campsite near Varazze, Liguria, Italy several campers made a videotape of circling nocturnal lights. A daylight disc and a humanoid were sighted in Livigno, Italy later that same day. Three young shepherds were tending some sheep in the valley when they noticed a strange white humanoid figure approaching them. At the same time, the sheep began to act nervous. The figure was similar to a man but he floated silently against the wind. He appeared to be squat, but nimble in movement at the same time. The terrified youths fled in panic. Looking back, they noticed that the strange white figure had vanished. Others in the area, including three tourists from Milan, Italy reported seeing a dark disc-shaped object moving silently over the area. 1996 – At 2:02 a.m. in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada several lights were seen maneuvering in the sky, and a witness used a flashlight to signal them. (Source: Geoff Dittman, Canadian UFO Survey 1996, case # 176).
1996 – At a campsite in Riding Mountain National Park, Manitoba a married couple watched a blue light dancing behind a hill for several minutes beginning at 3:30 a.m. They next found an object moving along the ground, occasionally emitting flames from its base. It shot up into the sky, then came back down to hover nearby, shining a beam of light on the witnesses. The incident lasted 90 minutes. 2000 – On this afternoon several witnesses spotted a flying humanoid careening through the clear blue sky over Carozzo, La Spezia, Italy. It was described as resembling the “Batman” character, including having on boots and a cape. It flew away from the area very fast. (Source: Albert S. 2000 – At 10:24 a.m. motorists on the New Jersey Turnpike near the Newark International Airport, Essex County, New Jersey watched a fast moving silver sphere pass by at high speed. 2000 – Also on this night two witnesses in Millis, Massachusetts saw a silhouette or a figure in the window of their home. It was silhouetted by a very bright white light behind it. Their dog became frightened during the incident and their satellite TV scrambled and showed square symbols. A circular area of matted down grass was later found in their yard. (Source: Albert S. 2003 – Witnesses in Federal Way, Washington reported seeing six green glowing egg-shaped objects overhead at 12:30 a.m., flying to the east, followed by a flashing blue saucer-shaped object. (Source: Peter Davenport, National UFO Reporting Center, Seattle, August 2003 archived webpage).
2003 – Two witnesses watched a white cylinder fly silently to the east over Point Pelee, Ontario on Lake Erie at 7:00 p.m. It flew at a speed estimated at approximately 1,500 feet per second and was in view for 15 seconds. 2004 – On this evening the main witness Lisa and two of her friends, Della and Sheila, reported seeing mysterious lights reflecting and cavorting over the witness’s property near Lucasville, Scioto County, Ohio. They also witnessed what appeared to be a solid object in the sky, silently taking different positions across the sky, zipping from place to place. It was composed of several lights and could be seen to be rotating, having a white fog about it. At times it appeared to be comprised of 3 or 4 lights. Later, they saw an object with a triangular-shaped light configuration come into view, after the witnesses heard a distinct jet-like low dull roar or rumble. (Source: Albert S. 2010 – There were two independent reports from Snohomish County, Washington on this evening. At 8:30 p.m. in Everett, Washington a white, star-like object darted acros the sky and suddenly stopped, and stayed there for three minutes. In Monroe, Washington witnesses saw 5 disc-shaped object pass over every ten minutes, beginning at 9:40 p.m. They each had four huge white lights in a square formation.
